During the month of October, I thoroughly enjoyed my newfound success at college but still felt as though I was missing out on the most important thing college has to offer. Due to the fact that I was living alone, I didn't have a readymade connection that other students who had roomates were able to form. As someone who has learned to thoroughly enjoy my own company through staying mindful and finding creative ways to enjoy my free time, I didn't view my situation as a setback. Instead, I spent some of my free moments in between class helping my classmates in mathematics and to my surprise I ended up befriending a girl that I helped. Through this new friend I was introduced to a very lovely group of people who I instantly clicled with. I feel very lucky to have met people who like who enjoy me for who I am.
